Willard Wankelman Gallery

Willard Wankelman Gallery is named for a former director of the School of Art; under Wankelman’s leadership of 26 years, it flourished and grew. The art building was constructed in 1950 with a two-story gallery/auditorium at one end. It was in this space that art history was taught and in which Professor Otto Ockvirk organized the first Student Exhibition, which opened on Mother’s Day in 1951.

The Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery

The Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery was completed in 1992 as part of the Art Building addition; the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery is an outstanding facility for the exhibition of art. With 14-foot ceilings in the central section and over 4,600 square feet, the Bryan Gallery has provided the northwest Ohio community with the opportunity to see large-scale contemporary work in an appropriate setting.
